Welcome to Capture The Moment Photography.  My name is Wayne King and I do professional photography in and around Brazil, Indiana.  I run a small studio in my home and enjoy more business than I can sometimes handle.  I specialize in senior pictures and weddings, but have also done family portraits and graphic design for things like wedding invitations and graduation announcements.

Capture The Moment Photography is not a new concept, nor am I the first guy to grab a camera and  wind up doing professional photography.  In fact, the Digital Age is changing photography daily as more and more people buy digital cameras and become "professionals".   Having come from these same ranks I appreciate the opportunity to provide professional photographic work for seniors, family portraits and weddings in the Wabash Valley. 

What separates me from a lot of photographers is my constant desire to learn and my determination for that knowledge to show in my work.  I strive to improve with every shoot.  I find when I am not doing photography I am thinking about it.  I read books and online blogs and bug the heck out of at least one local photographer when I cannot find answers to my questions.  (Thank you Mario Yoda ... Master of Light and Wonder.)

 I have no formal training in Photography.  I do have a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Computer Science, which is most beneficial when using computerized equipment such as a Canon digital camera and the software needed to convert, retouch and maintain thousands of digital photos.  I shoot mostly with a 30D camera and have a 20D for backup at weddings and such.  I have a small arsenal of lenses both Canon and Tamron.  But honestly, do you care about my training and equipment or do you want to know if I can shoot and produce a professional quality photo?  Look at  Wayne's Wall  to see my latest senior portrait work and you be the judge.
